A room in the attic with several skylight windows inspired me to create this body of work. The photographs of the views from these windows were taken at different times, weather and seasons. This work has a strong similarity with my oil paintings, because the windowpane served as a transparent canvas. The natural elements that had fallen on its surface, like the rain, frost, snow, dust and leaves resemble the manipulation of the oil on the canvas and the rich texture of its several layers. The beauty of these images lies in their simplicity since I have not used any type of digital edition. They are exactly what I have seen in those present moments of stillness, and the absence of the window frame allows the viewer to contemplate them without preconceived ideas. This work is a limited edition.
